Das Blasformen ist ein spezielles Spritzgießverfahren zur Herstellung von Hohlkörpern aus thermoplastischen Kunststoffen mittels Extrusion. Hydraulikzylinder kommen als Antrieb vor allem bei großen Blasformmaschinen mit schnellen und kraftvollen Schließeinheiten zum Einsatz, beispielsweise wenn hohe Schließkräfte erforderlich sind.
